New year, renewed goals for local businesses
By Jamie Smith
Something about starting a new year makes us want to start all things afresh. We make New Year’s resolutions that are promises to ourselves, but what about your business? Here’s what a few Biz2Biz advertisers want to accomplish for 2010.
“To be the worldwide business services provider; delivering value to our customers and business partners, consistently exceeding expectations and creating opportunity by being better, faster and smarter.”
– Barry Dunavan, store manager of the PostNet at Village on the Creeks
“To help local public schools budget for shortfalls by offering spirit debit cards to everyone.”
– Lance Eads, business development manager for the 66 Federal Credit Union in Springdale
“Trying to figure out how to reach the next level in my business—that’s where my head is at. I want to figure out what’s next from a growth perspective.” – Becky Paulk, president of Simplify Professional Services
“To get fiscally fit – including updating the company’s business plan, finding ways to get tax relief and marketing smarter.”
– Ken Abernathy, Big Hats Consulting
“Our goal is to increase business even though the economy may not recover as some think it might. We want to provide even better service and new products to our client base.”
– Randy Mullikin, president/owner of the Mullikin Agency
“We want to be confidently humble. We have a sense of confidence because of our recent success but we can’t get cocky. We want to stay laser-beam focused on document management.”
– Tim Stanley, president/owner of Total Document Solutions
“Keep it simple and remember to keep the client first, always. Customer service is number one. What I’m doing this year already I also want to take into the new year: develop relationships with networking.”
– Alicia Robertson, hair artistry professional at Signature Styles at Studio 303
“Hire more staff – including a copy writer and graphic designer. We’re growing every single week.”
– Steve Brachtenbach, owner of NWAR Sudden Values
“We’re moving forward. We’re not waiting for things to happen, we’re developing new Web sites and new products.” – Leesa Davis, president of SB Howard & Company
